While I can understand the desire for such a map, I\u2019m reluctant to do this for several reasons:<br \/>\n<strong>1.<\/strong> Specific locations aren\u2019t relevant to the story, which is mostly about what\u2019s going on in Katie\u2019s head.<br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong> Katie doesn\u2019t know where she is &amp; she\u2019s the one telling the story. If I tell you stuff she doesn\u2019t\/can\u2019t know, I\u2019ll be changing the way the story works.<br \/>\n<strong>3.<\/strong> This story is more allegory than \u201ctrue.\u201d No one named Katie O\u2019Toole actually went on such a journey. You cannot go find artifacts left behind from her passage.<\/p>\n<p>All this being said, I will admit <em>I<\/em> know exactly where Katie is at every step of her journey. I have maps, pictures, &amp; historical descriptions of the entire route. All the events of this story COULD have transpired exactly as described. So why don\u2019t I share these with you? Um, because . . . <em>(Click on Read More)<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>4.<\/strong> I\u2019d like you to use your imagination to make this story your own. I want <em>you<\/em> to know where Katie is every step of the way, not because I told you so but because you see it all in your own mind\u2019s eye. If I shove a map in your face &amp; say, \u201cThis is where she is!\u201d I\u2019ll be getting between you &amp; the story &amp; I don\u2019t want to do that. So if you want to look at a map, go look at Google maps &amp; become as much an expert on Katie\u2019s whereabouts as I am.<\/p>\n<p>(PS.
